I’ve invested in many, and developed a few TV names. The only prohibitive thing about the Dot-TV namespace — IMHO — is the cost of registration. Dot-TV names usually go for $30-$35 or more per year; the price can sometimes drop into the $20 neighborhood at GoDaddy or Enom once in a while, but not often.
So imagine my surprise to find that www.GoDaddy.com is selling Dot-TV domain names for just $9.99! That’s a truly exciting price. Unfortunately for me I don’t have any .TV names I want to register right now, so I’m going to miss the party this time.

A couple of days ago The Pirate Bay, a very well known Peer 2 Peer files exchanging website made a new kind of image hosting service but with a great particularity, the images posted there will never be removed or censorshiped, here is what they write on their page:
You can upload about 140 different formats. There’s even support for .RAR and .ZIP-archives! If you upload an archive with multiple images, you’ll also get an album-address for all the pictures inside of it. Tags are separated by spaces, removal code is a password to let you remove images you upload.
Max file upload size is 100MB. If you’re crazy and upload that much, then you should consider getting friends.bayimg.com is a place where you can host all your images. We do not censor them. We believe in freedom of speech, it’s of utter importance to us. As long as your pictures are legal they will be hosted here, but we reserve the right to remove images due to technical reasons though.
i think this will make this service very popular on the internet, because of scandals and dramas it can bring (ThePirateBay is already famous for scandals, as they are freely and openly having people exchanging copyrighted materials, thanks to swedish laws where they are hosted).
A friend of mine, decided to register a couple of name looking almost like the original one, http://www.bayimg.com ; he parked those names at NameDrive and got a couple of clicks, he seems to be sure that when they will get huge, his traffic will raise a lot, i am not into that game of registering typos or mistypes of a domain, and not encouraging it, but seems that can pay some bills ….
DO NOT REGISTER TYPOS (because of typosquatting laws and Trademarks) but BayImg philosophy seems to be: NO COPYRIGHT ! so……..

As i told in my precedent post, i’m giving you the available names in a new way, that data comes a little raw, so beware before registering a name, check yourself the good spelling, because Overture sometimes correct itself the spelling of a name and like the first name of the list “aurosmith” become “aerosmith” for the Overture system and in fact “aurosmith” doesn’t have that overure ranking. As well, beware before registering a hyphenated dot ORG name for exemple, comparing to DOT com or DOT net the DOT ORGs have less value (in most cases) and a hyhen in middle doesn’t help.
Other lists will come with domain age or google results, nothing is defined yet. Let me know if you find it useful in this way.
