RSS FeedA couple of days ago The Pirate Bay, a very well known Peer 2 Peer files exchanging website made a new kind of image hosting service but with a great particularity, the images posted there will never be removed or censorshiped, here is what they write on their page:
You can upload about 140 different formats. There’s even support for .RAR and .ZIP-archives! If you upload an archive with multiple images, you’ll also get an album-address for all the pictures inside of it. Tags are separated by spaces, removal code is a password to let you remove images you upload.
Max file upload size is 100MB. If you’re crazy and upload that much, then you should consider getting friends.bayimg.com is a place where you can host all your images. We do not censor them. We believe in freedom of speech, it’s of utter importance to us. As long as your pictures are legal they will be hosted here, but we reserve the right to remove images due to technical reasons though.
i think this will make this service very popular on the internet, because of scandals and dramas it can bring (ThePirateBay is already famous for scandals, as they are freely and openly having people exchanging copyrighted materials, thanks to swedish laws where they are hosted).
A friend of mine, decided to register a couple of name looking almost like the original one, http://www.bayimg.com ; he parked those names at NameDrive and got a couple of clicks, he seems to be sure that when they will get huge, his traffic will raise a lot, i am not into that game of registering typos or mistypes of a domain, and not encouraging it, but seems that can pay some bills ….
DO NOT REGISTER TYPOS (because of typosquatting laws and Trademarks) but BayImg philosophy seems to be: NO COPYRIGHT ! so……..

form next time i will change the way i’m posting my lists, i will post the top results of released domain names in function of OVT, Google results, age, wayback results, so there will be more domains posted and you’ll have to search the list?
